DISABILITY BENEFIT PLANS
Government Works disability plan offers
income replacement for the employee
who cannot work due to illness or accident.
This plan is distinct from worker's
compensation because they pay benefits
for non-work-related illness or injury.

Short-Term
Disability
Short-Term Disability covers up
to 60% of the salary on a weekly
basis and commences on the first
(1st) day after an accident or
the eighth (8th) day after an
illness.
Long-Term
Disability
Long Term Disability covers up
to 60% of the monthly salary to
a maximum of $5000.00 per month.
Life Insurance
Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) with coverage up to $50,000.00 for each (coverage is equal to annual salary if person makes less then $50,000.00). |
